Global Options, General Settings & Configuration
After connecting your Amazon account step, a seller needs to complete a few more steps before they can begin using the plugin. They can skip these configuration steps depending on how they want to use the plugin.
Global Options
The global options section contains a common set of fields which, when filled or mapped to product attributes or custom fields, would carry over to the Amazon templates. The fields in this section are shared across each template you will make thus, setting them up in this section would save the seller from setting them up in each template they create.
General Settings
This section allows you to control the product’s stock levels, price adjustment, and automated processes such as order sync, stock sync, existing product sync, and ASIN syncing.
The Inventory Sync syncs the stock levels from WooCommerce to Amazon based on SKUs. Therefore, ensure you have the same SKUs for your products on WooCommerce and Amazon. For the purpose of inventory syncing, we utilize Feeds that are sent to Amazon using the Feed API. Upon successfully processing the feed, the stock levels are updated on Amazon, but they take a few minutes before being displayed on Amazon’s listings.
The Order Sync process also requires that the same SKUs exist on WooCommerce and Amazon.
ASIN sync is used to sync the ASINs from Amazon to WooCommerce products based on product identifiers such as UPC or EAN. We can later utilize these ASINs for placing offers/relisting ASINs on Amazon.
Configuration
This last section signifies a successful connection between our plugin and Amazon using the tokens obtained through Login with Amazon (LWA).
